Scope launches cloud accounting packages for MCAST accountancy students

This Scope sponsored training provides a strong foundation in the multifaceted forms of cloud-based accounting systems, equipping educators with practical skills and knowledge to better nurture the development of tomorrow’s accountancy and finance professionals.
Scope Solutions, in collaboration with the MCAST Institute of Business Management and Commerce (IBMC), is launching a cloud accounting training programme geared towards educators together with licences for Xero platform- online accounting software. This Scope sponsored training provides a strong foundation in the multifaceted forms of cloud-based accounting systems, equipping educators with practical skills and knowledge to better nurture the development of tomorrow’s accountancy and finance professionals.
Recognising the need to bridge academia with ever-evolving industry expectations in the wake of game-changing cloud technology, MCAST approached Scope to design and provide a training programme to IBMC lecturers on the cloud-based accountancy platform, Xero. This programme will enable lecturers to impart the knowledge and competencies accountants must be conversant in to succeed in the digital era.
The cloud has irreversibly transformed accountancy and business management, with many of the world’s leading professionals having already fully embraced the technology. As the technology continues to gain widespread adoption, this evolution needs to be at the top of every young professional’s mind as they work towards accreditation and breaking into the industry.
