We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Sales & Customer Success to lead our Customer Success team, which is based in Malta. This role is responsible for driving growth and ensuring our customers/ partners receive exceptional service, achieve their goals with our products, and remain long-term advocates of our business. You will oversee the customer journey from onboarding to renewal, coach and scale a team of Customer Success Executives, and partner closely with Product, Delivery and Marketing teams.
Do you have what it takes?
- Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and customer expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and target markets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and nurture the sales pipeline.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Customer Success team.
- Define and implement strategies to strengthen customer relationships, increase adoption, and drive long-term value.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Oversee customer account management, including renewals, upsells, and contract negotiations to maximize profitability.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, and strategic partners.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions in line with customer needs and business objectives.
- Monitor customer health metrics, usage data, and feedback to proactively address risks and identify opportunities.
- Establish processes for product demos & client onboarding.
- Communicate progress on key initiatives, forecasts, and account performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and professional networks to enhance our reputation.
- Oversee the management and optimization of the CRM system, ensuring accurate data, streamlined workflows, and integration across teams.
- Continuously research and adopt best practices, leveraging technology and AI to enhance customer engagement, retention, and overall success.
The skills we're after
- 10+ years with a strong track record of managing and scaling Sales teams, Solutions Delivery teams, Customer Success teams and/or Account Management teams.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track metrics and translate insights into action.
- Experience working with SaaS products and understanding customer lifecycle best practices.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product and Marketing teams.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and customer-first mindset.
